The Founders of CERT Title, Jeff LeSaicherre and Christopher Couch, have over 25 years of real estate transactions/closing, policy issuance, compliance, and consumer-centric experience.
Jeff A. LeSaicherre, Founder - CEO
Jeff LeSaicherre is a Founder of CERT Title and serves as its Chief Executive Officer.
He is an accomplished attorney and the owner of the LeSaicherre Law Firm in Hammond, Louisiana. Jeff’s practice focuses primarily on real estate law, estate planning and successions. He has closed thousands of residential and commercial transactions during his career.
Jeff earned his Civil Law degree and International Law Certificate from the Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. Jeff is also a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and Ponchatoula High school.
Jeff is a member of the American Land Title Association, Louisiana Land Title Association, Tangipahoa Home Builder’s Association, Hammond City Court Drug Court Team, 21st JDC Bar Association, 21st JDC Young Lawyers Association and the 21st JDC Inns of Court. He is a proud supporter of the Hammond and Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce.
In 2012, Jeff was named to the Louisiana Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars.
Jeff resides in Ponchatoula with his wife Martha, and their three children: Ella, Noah and Adyn. He attends St. Joseph Catholic Church and serves on the St. Joseph Elementary School Advisory Council.
Christopher J. Couch, Founder - General Counsel
Christopher J. Couch is a Founder of CERT Title and serves as its General Counsel.
He is also a Founding Member and Managing Partner of Couch, Conville & Blitt, a multi-state law firm focusing upon representation of the financial services industry. CCB maintains offices in Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
Under his leadership, CCB has been certified by some of the nation's largest lenders for purposes of litigating on their behalf. CCB received the 2015 National Compliance Award from one of its clients, which recognized the Firm's commitment to compliance in its overall operations.
His legal practice further focuses in the areas of Creditors’ Rights, Commercial Litigation, General Business Counseling, and Collateral Lending. He represents a wide variety of clients, including collateral lenders, national banks, finance lessors, credit grantors, debt purchasers, collection agencies, local corporations, and several publicly traded corporations.
Mr. Couch was recognized as one of New Orleans’ Leaders In Law Attorneys by New Orleans CityBusiness in 2009 and 2010.
He is a 2012 graduate of New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute 2012 Leadership Program.
In 2013, Mr. Couch was recognized by CityBusiness as one of the top 50 financial professionals whose fiscal work has set the pace for their company and received the Money Maker Award.
He has lectured nationally on a variety of topics, such as the Compliance, Disaster Planning & Recovery, and Law Office Management.
In 2013, he spoke at the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys Spring Conference in Las Vegas on Preparing for the “New Normal” Compliance Environment—Keeping Ahead of the Audit Curve.
Mr. Couch served as the Co-Chairman of the Future Leadership Committee for the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys. From October 2005 through January 2008, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of NARCA. From January 2008- October 2009, he served as Parliamentarian to the President of NARCA.
Mr. Couch is also a member of the La Bar Association.
Mr. Couch is a 2000 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. He is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all Louisiana courts, and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
Mr. Couch is a 1997 graduate of the University of New Orleans. He also received a Certificate for attending the summer scholar program at George Washington School of Political Management.
Mr. Couch has published a variety of articles related to the compliance, audit, lending and legal collections, law office management and disaster planning and recovery.
He is also a co-author of the Louisiana Law of Pawn, 3d. Edition, 1999.
Jared Miguez, Corporate Staff Attorney
Jared is a Corporate Staff Attorney in the Covington branch of CERT Title. Jared’s efforts are focused upon examinations, closings, client services and business development, primarily on the Northshore. Jared discovered his passion for real estate while in law school and began his legal career as a Title Attorney in New Orleans. Jared maintains a Bachelor’s Degree from LSU and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans. Jared and his wife, Stephanie, live in Covington and attend St. Peter Catholic Church.
Coby Venable, Corporate Staff Attorney
Coby is a CERT Corporate Attorney in the New Orleans office. He performs examinations and closings in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes. He is an excellent communicator and advocate for his clients. Coby earned his Juris Doctor from Emory Law School and a Bachelors in Marketing from the University of Georgia. He lives with his partner Olivia along the Uptown parade route in New Orleans.
